    MXPS Dash Review

Posted by Brad F on 5th Mar 2024

I have this dash on my 2022 GSX-R1000R. It's okay, but not great. The reason for my rating is threefold: 1.) The speedometer error from the factory REALLY bothers me. Part of the reason I bought this dash was for the speedo error correction factor that one can enter. It doesn't work. At all. I placed a GPS speedo on my bike next to the dash and regardless of how I changed the correction factor, it had no effect, whatsoever, on the speedometer. 2.) There's very little customization that can be done by the user. You can change the units from Imperial to metric and a few other small things but you cannot change how things are displayed (i.e. I would like the speed readout to be larger and central to my field of view). 3.) The software can be a bit buggy as the whole dash has just locked up on me a couple of times causing me to have to stop my bike and restart it. Feels like it's running Windows. Finally, AiM is not releasing any updates to the firmware so I'm kind of stuck with it. I feel like maybe I should have gone with the Starlane instead of AiM.
