1. Best slip on for a S1000R
I got this for my 21 S1000R, its the same exhaust since the dual piped 17's. Much lighter than stock, but it's also much smaller. Even though the stock Akra is pretty light too. With the stock header, its noticably louder. If you disable the exhaust valve servo/cables, its even louder. The valve intact, it halfway opens in N and 3rd and up ( more depending on the throttle) and closes in 1st and 2nd. which gives a schizo sound where its near stock sounding in 1st and 2nd, then changes and get much louder in 3rd and up. With the stock header, it runs great and is right on the edge between ride all day loud and loud loud. The exhaust note is a little odd at times as the stock header with the cats and main muffler, cut out some of the trebles, but it still sounds pretty good.
