Constructed from race-proven materials: carbon fibre for the muffler sleeve and titanium for the end cap and link pipe,the racing–inspired design has a smaller sportier appearance and that exhilarating AkrapoviÄ sound to heighten the senses. It is a simple plug-and-play installation with no remapping needed, and is designed for track use and markets where EC/ECE-type approval is not required. There are optional headers for improved torque and power, especially from the mid-range upwards.
If passenger footrests are removed optional aluminium or carbon fibre muffler bracket is needed.

Great Sounding pipe, but that bracket?
Love the fit, looks and sound of this pipe, but that mounting bracket (looks crap). Easy to follow instructions for those new to swapping parts, and quality is top notch! At 3.6lbs she is not to loud or obnoxious, and comes with a small bracket to install on the exhaust servo, so no trouble codes, or wires hanging. The lack of the 5th star is due to the crap mounting bracket.

Top notch quality product as you would expect from Akrapovic. The fit was perfect, and instructions were easy to follow as well. Great sounding system! The one thing they should improve is the muffler bracket, it really looks cheap and half thought out. more dan moto than Akra..
