The Akrapovic Kawasaki Ninja 400 Carbon Slip On is designed to be used with their Akrapovic Kawasaki Ninja 400 Stainless Steel Header for riders who want a full exhaust system. As with all Akrapovic Exhaust the quality and fit of this header is absolutely top shelf. This header has a larger diameter than the OEM header and will accept the 12mm OEM exhaust sensor or the larger 14mm sensor if you intend to use an aftermarket sensor for tuning purposes.
If you plan to add the Akrapovic Kawasaki Ninja 400 Headers to create a full system we recommend installing the noise insert that is included with the Carbon Slip On for the Ninja 400

Nice muffler for the money
Really nice exhaust. Very well packaged with excellent directions. Fits perfectly and sounds really nice. Install was extremely simple. It’s definately louder than stock but not obnoxious or raspy. My only gripe is that the end cap doesn’t match the carbon fiber on the rest of the muffler. Also I dislike the label on it is just a cheap sticker. Still overall really nice for the money!

Great Sound and Look
I'm glad I spent a ton of time researching to figure out this was the exhaust I wanted. It's a nice deep rumbly tone, with none of the raspy weedwhacker-y sound. Also, even with the baffle OUT, it's not super loud at all and I don't worry about annoying my neighbors with it in the morning. I can't really tell if taking the baffle out makes you lose some top end power or not. I don't really care as I enjoy the sound too much. Overall a very nice exhaust that saves you around 8 lbs or so.
