Akrapovic Kawasaki ZX-6R 09-24 Carbon Slip On Exhaust

The fit and assembly of this Akrapovic silencer are outstanding. The welds are butter smooth and the look is nothing but sexy. If there's one thing that Akrapovic can improve on, it's the application of their logo decal. I noticed it lifting straight out of the shipping box because they didn't clean the surface prior to application. But I guess that's why STG stocks so many replacement decals. And speaking of STG, they nutted up when others wouldn't.....5 stars for that. Akrapovic applies a label to the shipping box clearly indicating that this particular product is a "replacement part" pursuant to the laws of my state.....meaning that it's legal for highway use. Unfortunately, distributors, local dealerships and other e-commerce sites (i.e. Parts Unlimited, Motosport, Revzilla, etc.) weren't cluing in because they refused to ship this slip-on to my state. Thanks STG for keeping your eyes on the ball!

Fit and assembly are superb. Welds are butter and the weight reduction is substantial. If there's anything that Akrapovic needs to improve on, it's the application of their logo decals. Mine is starting to lift straight out of the shipping box. Seems Akrapovic likes to apply decals to parts that have a thin coat of oil on them. Come on Akrapovic you're better than that! Now I understand why STG stocks so many different replacements. Speaking of STG they should get 5 stars! Akrapovic acknowledges that their slip-on for the 2024 ZX-6R qualifies as a "replacement part" pursuant to the laws of my state.......making it perfectly legal for highway use without securing an executive order. Yet my local dealers, distributors and many online retailers (i.e. Parts Unlimited, Comoto, Motosport, etc.) wouldn't ship it to me because of the state that I live in. It's possible that STG is the only e-commerce site with its eyes on the ball because they got my order rollin' in less than 1 business day! Thanks STG!

Yes it's expensive but it looks and sounds fantastic. Beautiful can and welds, not too loud with a nice deep tone. Serious weight saving over the stock can and the install was fairly simple and easy using the provided instructions. Completely satisfied.

Excellent fit and finish. Top quality materials and hardware. Mounts easily with excellent instructions. Akrakrapovic is synonymous with impeccable quality. Sounds amazing too!
