This product is constructed with hand-laid carbon fibre for the muffler outer sleeve and end cap, with a high-grade stainless-steel inner structure, noise insert, link pipe, and headers, resulting in a race track use–oriented exhaust that is 66.1% (7.4 kg) lighter that the standard stock version. Maximum performance is obtained due to a different exhaust configuration, creating performance gains throughout the entire rev range above 5,000 rpm. Power and torque increases of 7.2 kW (9.8 hp) at 14,600 rpm and 5.0 Nm at 6,400 rpm have been recorded, respectively, when compared to a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R equipped with a standard stock exhaust and tested on the AkrapoviÄ dyno. The racing look is due to removal of the pre-muffler; the exhaust has two lambda sensors to counter this. The exhaust tone has a unique deep racing sound, and the system is a plug-and-play installation that requires no mandatory remapping, but this is recommended to get the full experience.
Options include a carbon-fibre muffler bracket and the Track Day Link Pipe (SS) to use on race tracks with stricter noise limits.
