Faster-3 riding shoe
This is my 2nd pair of A-star riding shoes (not sure if these are the exact same model or not). Overall, I'm a fan. They are comfortable, they can pass as regular footwear for walking around, and they provide a bit more protection than sneakers or the like. I would say that these run just a little bit small (length) compared to most footwear, but once broken in, that isn't an issue. This particular model has noticeably less air flow than my previous pair and I'm sure less than the rideknit version (not a problem, just note this in your decision). They are comfortable for walking around and pretty easy to put on and take off. My last pair lasted 3-5 years, so I consider these a reasonable spend in terms of longevity and durability as well. Thankfully I never crashed in them, so I don't know how they hold up for that, but as an A-star product, I use them because I have confidence that they will hold up if needed.

First Riding Shoes -- Why did I wait?
I have always worn harness boots or tactical boots on the Raider and Z900 but I thought I would try these since it gets hot in SC. They are very comfortable, I looked them over and they seem very well made. I feel safe in them --probably better than the harness boots with the CE protection -- and they sure look better on the Z900 than my cruiser boots. Definitely glad I purchased. They seem to run to size for me. They were shipped the next day, so great service too.

Great Quality, Great Fit.
I've always been an A* boot wearer, and this is my first try with some riding shoes. High quality as expected, with adequate protection, and they look great. I have no problem wearing them once off the bike for an afternoon. I wear a shoe size 10, have always got A* size 10 (or EU 44); did the same here and they fit perfect.

Alpinestars faster 3 riding shie
Alpinestars does it again with a budget friendly riding shoe. Quality shoe for errand running street rider and weekend getaway riding. Comfortable, lightweight and great airflow through the material. Figuring out size for fit was a bit of a task. I wear a 12 mens in Nike and 11 men's in Adidas. I went with the 11 mens. Little snug at first(my feet are bit wide) but walked around the house and took a decent 100 mile ride and now my feet feel at home in them.
