Great gloves
Upgraded to these after wearing the SP2 V2s for years. Instantly feel much more protection and the preformed fingers. Feels a bit tight at first but they break in nicely after 3-4 uses. A comfortable glove to wear for 45-60 minute street rides. The sizing guide helped choose the correct size, just wore them around the house a couple times and they were ready.

Alpinestars GP Plus R V2 Gloves
I was disappointed in comparison to my 7+ year old GP Plus XL gloves I used for vintage racing. The new XL GP Plus fits fine around the hand but the fingers on the left glove were longer than the right glove and the fingers on both gloves were longer than my old GP Plus (which fit perfectly.) Also, the fingers are too big in circumference compared to my old gloves. Maybe the new glove isn't broken in yet, but it takes more effort to bend the fingers. The good points are that the glove shows excellent protection and I really like the styling.
