Protector came as described, appears true to size. Fit my new Alpinestars jacket perfectly. From watching the vid on it, I got the impression it was gonna be a lot stiffer than what it is-- not a bad thing, was actually pleasantly surprised. Nice and pliable when installed and you really don't notice it. Definitely worth the extra protection

I add the Nucleon Back Protector to all my AStars jackets. The foam pad that usually comes stock with the jacket is not of any real value, so I always upgrade to a CE protector. This particular one is priced in the middle of the AStars back protector line, and will add a better level of protection, than either the stock one, or worse, nothing at all. If fits perfectly in most AStars jackets, at least all that I own, and it flows air and is very flexible . Once I have the jackets on, I do not even notice that the protector is there. Highly recommend this one, or any one in the line.

Chest protection is good , back pad seems to have a few mold issues (small imperfections) I do not believe that are a safety issue and I would buy these again

second purchase, one in my dainese crono mesh and this one for alpinestars jaws...the fit is perfect and when they warm up you hardly know they are back there...i have never been down but take other's word for the effectiveness of it's protection...

A massive improvement over the previous generation RC and Bionic back protector inserts, which felt like wearing rigid planks on your back. The Nucleon simply vanishes, and is completely comfortable, while providing level 2 protection, versus the previous generations' level 1. The Nucleon also has plenty of ventilation holes, so airflow is barely impeded at all. Size Large KR-2i fit perfectly in my XL Alpinestars Luc Air jacket.
