Alpinestars SMX-6 V2 Boots

Just like they say, they feel broke in right away. I only gave 4 stars because of a small flaw, but it’s nothing to complain about.

This is my second set. I actually bought the SMX 6 air in May anticipating hot weather for the summer. They were above and beyond what I expected. So much so that I decided to buy this second set without perforation for winter time and they fit as expected, perfect and very comfortable both on and off the bike. 11/10 on a scale from 1 to 10 in my opinion.

Just bought these for the second time. Love the comfort and price-point. Only negative I had was the sole wore thin under balls of feet from pegs. Ridden 80% track, 20% street.

Incredible fit and protection where you need it.

These will be my second pair of smx series, I had my smx4s for ever, and am hooping these are just as good maybe better. And there so comfortable!!!

These boots are comfortable and fit me well. The video that recommends buying one size smaller than your normal shoe size was spot on for me. I wear a 10.5 US(45 Euro) shoe but the 9.5(44 Euro) boots fit me the best. The 45 Euro boots would be too large. I can't comment about the on bike performance of the boots because I am replacing 9 year old Alpinestars high tops and there is a learning curve for me shifting with a much thicker boot at the toe area.

Mainly a sport bike rider of several years. Not a track rider. However, I felt it prudent to get a nice pair of dedicated motorcycle boots that fit my riding style. Ordering from STG was very straight forward. I decided on these boots, but was nervous about sizing. I watched the video of Brian showcasing the boots which was very helpful in my deciding to buy them. Coincidently he stated he was a 12 U.S. in DC shoes. Which is exactly what i am. That being the case Brian explained these boots are about a size bigger than indicated. I trusted his advice and ordered the 45 euro. Got the boots and tried them on HOPING for a great fit. The first boot I was heart broken! It didn't fit! I peeled the boot off a little upset until i realized there was a ball of packing paper in the toe. after removing all the packing it fit like a dream! Thanks Brian! Boy are these boots comfortable! I do not have much riding time in these boots, but I will say they will take a little getting used to as they are different form my norm. In closing (I know this is really long) I already love these boots!

4-stars only because boot-cut riding jeans require asignificant tugging effort to get them over the expanded shin guards. I'm impressed with the zipper, impressed with the flexible circumference choices you can make when tacking down the weather flap. The soles have more grip than the Sidi short boot I've been using previously.
