disappointed about the size recommendation on the video review. i ordered the size according to Brian and they definitely are a very snug fit. the size 46 would have been a better choice for me . i wear a size 11 1/2 in mostly everything. the boots are very well made and a subdued style.

good value
These boots are an excellent value. Race-worthy protection in a street-comfortable, fairly priced boot. I had the previous generation SMX5 and wore them many years, for racing and daily street riding. They survived half a dozen crashes on track and one street incident where my foot got caught between the bike and a tall stone curb at 30mph or so. Protected me completely every time. The SMX6 has the same generous fit that works for my wide feet, same immediate comfort, same quality construction. The ventilation is improved, I can feel my feet cooling in the breeze when they have gotten hot and sweaty from standing around. There is a slightly bulky feel to the toe under the shifter, but I am probably just used to my old worn out boots.

They feel like they’re already broken in. Fit perfectly. Bought one size smaller than the chart said and they fit great. Very happy.

Boots
These things are so comfortable, the air flow is really nice. I only gave 4 stars because of a small flaw where the ankle support connects to the boot on one of them, but nothing to stress over.

Great boots
My last pair of these lasted 5 years (although they were crusty by then) and were so comfortable and had such good protection that I didn't even think of another pair. No track days, but I ride street aggressively. I wear a size 13 normal shoe, and for whatever reason these in size 11.5 fit well. A bit stiff at first, but break in well after just a couple uses. Confidence inspiring and worth the price.

Street Boot
These boots are hands down the best pair I've ever owned. I've had all different brands and these are by far the most comfortable and breathable. Just go down 1 size for a proper fit. I wear an 11.5 and a 10.5 fits me perfectly.
