1. $200 down the drain :-(
I've owned this lens for a couple of months now and I am HIGHLY disappointed. I've read on the Alpinestars website that this lens had a visual light transmission (VLT) vault of 71-20%. I CALL BS on that as I've left this lens in the sun for over an hour and it VERY vaguely changes darkness. So much so, that it doesn't even touch on ANY kind of justification to cost $200. I've sent this information to Alpinestars themselves and they have ignored any of my correspondence about the quality of this expensive product. I'm disgusting that I even wasted my money on this thinking it would work as designed. One thing I will say is, I do love my Supertech R10 helmet though. It has become my daily rider which makes this purchase for the lens even worst as I had waaay higher expectations.
