The Arai Pro Shade Shield System fits all current Arai helmets and any Arai helmet with the SAI shield. The Pro Shade Shield System Replacement Shield does NOT include the flip up-flip down visor ONLY. Replacement visor is SOLD SEPARATELY.
To date, many helmets feature a retractable sun-visor located between the outer shield and inner shell to provide the rider relief from the sun's glare. The engineers at Arai worry that this system may affect the performance of a helmet during impact, so the Pro Shade system was developed. This system is situated on the outside of the helmet and does not negatively affect the performance of the helmet during impact.
This system is ideal for the tour rider. Compatible with all weather, the Pro Shade System offers protection against sun flare, fogging, and misting.

Arai Pro Shade System
So far its great! I have a terrible habit of losing my Ray Bans on days I take the bike out (lost 3 pairs). So, this solves that problem. The original fitment was tight, I almost thought it was for a different visor, but it loosens up and works nicely. Great tactile feel while flipping up and down. Highly reccomend
