$994.99

This bodywork put Armour Bodies on the map in the US market. Pro Series fit, finish, flexibility and crash worthiness has made it an industry leader. Introduced for the 2008 season, Pro Series became anything but just another moderately priced bodywork set. The quality is apparent as soon as you pull it out of the box.

Full Sheet Fiberglass - Each kit is assembled from full sheet fiberglass allowing for the strongest, lightest bodywork possible. Other manufacturers save money using scraps of fiberglass in their kits making them heavier and more brittle. Pro Series bodywork will often survive a crash that would some leave other bodywork in pieces.

Special Resin - Armour Bodies uses a special resin derived from the kayak industry. Originally created to withstand rocky impacts, our specially formulated resin provides superior flexibility and weight savings. This resin also has a very low shrinkage ratio, ensuring a perfect fit.

Finish - We spend more time finishing our bodywork than any other manufacturer in the industry. Every kit is meticulously finished, filling holes and sanding edges to insure a perfect surface on every kit. The bodywork is ready to paint with just a light scuff, saving you time and money in the booth.

Carbon/Kevlar Reinforcement - New for the 2011 season Armour Bodies has raised the bar once again by adding Carbon/Kevlar reinforcements to all the mounting areas at no extra cost. These reinforcements help prevent cracking at the mount points during a crash, keeping your bodywork intact and on the bike where it belongs. Our flexibility, finish, fit and price set us apart from all others.

Additional Information:

  • Kit includes upper, lower, tail, draft pan and fender.
  • Supersport kits include a standard tail, which use the stock seat. Superbike kits do not use the stock seat and a foam pad seat is recommended.
  • Pro Series bodywork has the same award-winning fit and finish that took the industry by storm when Armour Bodies scored among the leaders in every single category in the Roadracing World bodywork comparison.
  • Finished in a high quality primer that is ready for paint after a light scuff.
  • This is the perfect kit for racers or track day fanatics who want top quality bodywork at a price that they can afford.
  • Note: Free shipping on complete kits of bodywork purchased. Shipping costs apply to individual pieces.

    ARMOUR BODIES Race Bodywork

Posted by Dennis Valade on 15th Oct 2022

Over the years I have had most of the brands out there. This is a really good one. It has a good amount of flex and the fit is pretty good. Like all race bodywork you will have to do a little trim work around the rearset area. This isn’t a big deal with a dremell. Just part of fitting race bodywork. Would recommend to a racer.

Armour Bodies First Time User Experience

Posted by michall werle on 15th Mar 2021

I am a first-time customer of the Armour Bodies product. I researched the other competitors and watched Brian’s video showing the install and comparison and felt it was a safe choice. My initial unboxing, I was impressed with the quality and very happy with the first impression. No flaws and the primer finish was very clean. The installation for me was not as impressive as my expectations in my head. The parts fit was close but not what I saw in the video and left me having to do a little grinding and a lot of adjustment in the drilling to get it as close and have a nice fit and look. The larger front fairing pieces did not match up as nice as the one in Brian’s demo in the video. There was something off in the mold for sure. But I knew it was not going to be like OEM plastic. The matting tabs that the slip on Dzus fasteners connected to needed to be ground down for them to work. I would recommend using the rivet style not the slip-on Dzus fasteners. They were a pain in the butt and not worth the aggravation. After a lot of tweaking I got it fitted nicely. The biggest issue for me was the primer. I tested several automotive paint vendors and the paint we tested did not want to stick to that primer. I originally wanted to paint it myself with high end rattle can paint that I had custom ordered but the lite sanding and paint it just did not want to stick. I took it to a pro paint shop and we had to sand down the primer that came on fairing and re-prime the body work. This was a waste of time an additional cost I was not expecting. Not sure what type of primer they use but the professional paint shop was not going to use it. All in all I think it is a good product. Would I but it again, I am still on the fence about it. The cost of the fairing and painting it turned out to be more than OEM plastic that I could have ordered with the color and stickers already. Something to consider!
