    Great idea!

Posted by WaynoJ on 5th Feb 2016

This is one of the best ideas ever, and it is executed to near perfection. One shield for both day and night -- how could it miss, right? The only drawback (well, other than the price, which is a bit stiff), is that it takes five to ten seconds to lighten when you go into a tunnel or other dark area, which entails raising the shield for a bit for safety. Otherwise, I completely endorse this shield. I have five Bell helmets at the moment, and have used Transitions shields on all of them. Highly recommend to anyone with a compatible helmet.

So good I'm on my 6th one

Love the Transitions shield, I'm actually on probably my 6th one of those, and at $120 apiece you have to love them to keep replacing them......but a few accidents, a drop onto a shield......etc.....I end up buying a new one. Lol

    Get this! Worth every $$

If you have a bell helmet, you need to get this. Fits on almost all of their bell helmets, and it really does work...just don't clean it with the windshield washer fluid, I messed up my first one that way.

    worth the price

Yes, it is worth the high price. Tint is a tad too clear in warm weather - personal preference. Tilt adjustment is very stiff compared to stock shield but that was an easy fix. Buy it..

    Great product

This is exactly what I always needed. I leave early in the morning, when the Sun is bright, and often return back home after dark. Carrying and changing between two visors, is a bit of a PITA, so this visor is the perfect solution. It really works!

works faster than I expected. By the time I hear up and get on its darkened. Good quality and easy to install. Took literally 10 seconds.

    Pricey but works!

This is a great option if you often ride at dusk or dawn. I've always worn helmets with the internal sun visor but this transition shield gives you more options, especially if you are looking at higher end race inspired models (they rarely have an internal sun visor). I've ridden with it for a couple of days now and it works great; seems to transition quickly and always provides that perfect tint. The shield also doesn't fog up and has a high quality feel to it. Love it so far!
