if you change your own tires and don't want to mar your rims, these help are durable and last for years I have had mine for over 3 years changes many tires and no issues

2 just ain't enough
These are a must if you enjoy doing your own tire changes and do not want to scuff your rims. I have tried the other styles of rim protectors which come off frequently as you move around the tire, these do not. If you own more than a few bikes, tire changes can become expensive and if you want to move to that next level of motorcyclist as a hobby this is a small investment that will help get you there along with some tire spoons. You will know how good a product these are when your biker friends don't return them when they borrow them, so buy ones to keep and ones to loan out.
