The Brembo 19RCS Forged Master Cylinder is our most popular selling aftermarket brake master. The variable lever ratio makes this the perfect option as it allows the rider to tune the feel in a way that best suits their individual riding style.

Radial master cylinder designed for street bikes that allows maximum readiness and perfectly modulable braking in any conditions of use with excellent linearity between the force applied to the lever and the braking response.

This brake master cylinder has the RCS system, patented by Brembo, for adjustment of the lever centre distance which allows you to obtain the ideal feeling between rider and bike. In just a few seconds using a simple screwdriver you can make the braking system more aggressive and reactive (20 mm) or softer and modulable (18 mm).

This model uses a 19 mm diameter piston and an folding long lever (LL), a detail which is particularly popular with Racing riders and those who love to ride on the track.

Brembo uses only cutting-edge procedures in order to guarantee excellent operation and performance. In fact, the aluminium alloy brake master cylinder main body is obtained through forging and then machined with numerically controlled equipment.

For the surface finishing oxidation was chosen which is normally used in MotoGP and Superbike.

Best upgrade you can do to a bike.

Posted by Mike on 14th Oct 2022

Always manages to impress me over a stock master cylinder. Not only is the hydraulics some of the best out there, but the lever definitely was not just an afterthought. The lever and pivot are silky smooth, and the lever folds. I like the full length lever as well. Only difficulty with this is sometimes the handlebar is a bit crowded, so getting the right angle can be challenging. Highly recommend use with aftermarket clip ons!

    Brembo RCS 19 master

If you want to keep your hand from cramping this is a great upgrade. Makes single finger braking possible, so much so that you can do endos. Not really necessary for a street rider but if you do a lot of hard braking it’ll save your hands and lap times.

    Single best upgrade I've purchased.

Posted by Nicholas Dostie on 30th Apr 2017

I bought this to replace the stock MC on my 02 gsxr 1000. It wasn't hard to improve over the stock system which was in dire need of maintenance. That being said, the difference is amazing! True single finger braking, extremely smooth feel and great stopping power. Pair these with a nice set of braided Steel lines and you'll think you have a factory race setup. Works great for 6 pot front calipers. Best upgrade I ever purchased hands down!

    True single finger pull breaking!

Super easy to install if you know what you're doing. Wiring up the break light switch could be made easier but if you're confident doing your own electrical work it's pretty instinctual. I installed the MC at the same time as new Spiegler braided lines which made things flow pretty quick. This MC is epic. Difference in braking between the RCS 19 and stock is impressive. I have yet to play with the two different settings but am excited to.

    Maximum Stopping Power

Posted by Erik on 21st Feb 2017

I installed the Brembo RCS19 on my 2014 Honda CBR1000RR SP, which comes from the factory with front Brembo Monobloc Calipers. Wow! What a difference. Before you even get rolling you'll notice how stiff the lever feels compared to the stock master cylinder. Brake feel is excellent and you'll immediately see a difference in stopping power. The whole unit also looks awesome with Brembo branding on the body of the master, the handlebar clamp, and the folding lever. The install was fairly easy. I have one tip: If you're using the brake light switch, make sure you trim your wire and snap it in to the body of the master before you tighten the banjo bolt. We made the mistake of running the steel braided brake lines, installing them on the banjo bolt, and tightening the bolt before hand. We even bled the brakes. Then noticed that the switch wouldn't install because the brake lines were in the way. Whoops! Overall this is an awesome product and well worth the three bills. I run the EBC EPFA pads on the front. Do the same (or similar) and you'll notice that the only guys who can run later in to the hole on the brakes are MotoAmerica guys on their off weekend.

    Great replacement for oem

Used this master cylinder to replace a failed GSXR master. OEM replacements were not available due to the ongoing recall. This one worked great.
