The Bridgestone Battlax S21 Hypersport Tire is designed to give the rider the perfect blend of performance, durability and confidence. Van had the opportunity to ride on the All New Bridgestone S21's on the Yas Marina Circuit during the product launch to evaluate their race track performance on a variety of motorcycles from 600 to 1000cc. The S21 is the evolution of the S20 Evo tires impvoving on durability, dry grip, wet grip and stability by using their Ultimateye Technology. On track Van was able to absolutely verify the dry grip and stability of the S21 Tires making this an excellent option for riders to easily transition from spirited street rides to track days without missing a beat.
Technical Features:
- Dry grip and wear life significantly improved without sacrificing wet performance

s21 rear tire
will wheelie in rain. excellant track day tire get 5-6 k to tread bars. retains handling till completely worn out

Excellent grip
Not the best but definitely up there in terms of performance. Hangs on no matter the lean, speed or how deep the curve is. Got 2800 spirited miles out of the first one before taking a knife to the center tread in which was in the middle of the road. Expect every bit of 4000 miles out of the replacement as long as outside forces don't interfere.

They grip and last!
I needed tires for my GSXR1000 a few years back, didn’t know what to buy, but I was really happy with the RS10’s on my R1M ..... aside from the tire life. I ride this bike a lot more than the yamaha so I knew I needed to have something more durable. I gave the S21’s a shot and couldn’t be happier. My experience with the RS10’s was to run lower than recommended pressures to get best performance and wear life, these seem to be the same. I’m almost at 3 seasons with this set, lots of straight line pulls, curvy rides in the country with my riding buddies, these tires have soaked it all up and at 3k (including a blistering fast 735 miles in the Ozark Mountains that reached my buddy’s RS10.....) the tread still has 40% left and the wear is nice and even. I would easily buy another pair of these if I needed tires, but the new S22 seems to be “more betterer” in dry grip and life so I’ll probably choose them next time but I could totally see another set of these on my bike without issue if the price was right.

2 days at Jennings GP track day
I was going to purchase Q4s but for the price difference, plus $$ rebate i decided to give these S21 a try. I'm a quick A group rider, GSXR 600, NO Warmers. 200+ miles on 12/15-16/2018, 50-60 degrees. Tires were excellent and wore evenly, good feed back on drive and trail braking corner entry. I"m sure the Q4s are excellent too, but so are these. It never ceases to amaze me the N & I riders who have generators & warmers--ridiculous--I had NO warmers and was up to speed after out lap. Will try the RS10s this summer. Your mileage may differ!

For the money they can't be beat
I've ridden on tires that cost twice what these do and they weren't any better. Give them a try and I'm pretty sure you'll love them too.

Upgrade from S20 for FZ-10
Replaced worn S20 (stock) after about 9700+ miles. Only used these for about 500 miles so not much to review, however, tire arrived on time.

Bridgestone S21
Don't do track days anymore. Riding is confined to local twisty-bits. 4,000 miles from the rear tire on my S1000R. More to come from the front. No heavy rain experience (so I won't give them 5 stars), but they've done everything I've asked in the corners. Rated.

BRIDGESTONE BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S21 REAR TIRES
Been Riding my 2014 YZF R1 and FZ09 on the Track and on the street with Q3's with no issues, confident inspiring tires. Last year another online retailer had a smoking good deal on the S21 and rated the Bridgestone S21 quite highly. I also read the reviews of the from the riders involved in the invitational test of the S21 at the Yas Marina Circuit and bought a pair for each of my bikes. Last November I finally got a chance to try out the S21 on my FZ09 at Thunderhill Raceway 3 mile track in Willows CA.. Although the air temp never rose above 60 degrees the S21 performed every bit as good as the Q3's. Looking forward to spooning on a set of the S21 on the YZF R1 this summer. With the Bridgestone rebate and current sale price, it a hard deal to pass up. I am glad I gave the S21's a try. They are great tires!
