    Perfect Size, Strapping Puzzle

Posted by JJB on 17th Feb 2017

The bag is great! Very good size for going back and forth to work. My primary need was to hold regular size paper and it does without expanding it open. If you expand it, it will carry legal sized paper inside. It looks well built, zippers are solid, side pockets are a good size. The red interior does help you find items, and the extra little compartments are a great idea. Let's talk about instructions for how to mount it using the straps. There aren't any. There are two grainy pictures in the 5"x5" tag hanging from the zipper when you get it, but they are useless for how to use the straps that have velcro, loops, pads, and adjusters. After scratching my head trying about 15 different ways to get the straps to hold it securely without looking totally like a rube job, including just about standing on my head, I gave up. I went to YouTube and entered "How to Mount Cortech 2.0 Tail Bag" and in under 2 minutes, had it done. Now, it is very secure and easy on and easy off. Hint: I used my rear footpegs, and looped the straps through themselves for the two hooks by my butt, and used little tie down brackets by my license plate frame criss-crossed under tail to hold the rearmost two hooks.
