D.I.D's engineers are continuously improving chain designs in order to handle tremendous horse power loads of today's high performance motorcycles. In developing the new DID ZVM-X Series, they focused on rigidity. Traditionally, tensile strength has been the bench-mark to indicate overall strength, but tensile strength is only a laboratory static measurement of a chain's fracture point. Rigidity, on the other hand, is the ability of a chain to withstand the forces that occur in the real world that rider experience. DID 525 gold drive chain
I'll admit it: DID is the only chain brand name I can remember from my childhood. A little interwebs reading confirms my bias: It's a good choice. I expect I'll get excellent performance and longevity out of it. ...And thanks for all the videos Mr. Van.

Great chain!
This is a great chain for my 2013 Ducati Panigale 1199. Bike responds quicker and feels "tight" when giving it gas. My bike had a VX 525 when I purchased it which is not even recommended for engines above 750cc so I replaced it with the 525 ZVM-X and I can tell the difference.
