D.I.D. ZVM-X Super Street Series 525 Chain Rivet Master Link

It's a master link. Works like a master link. And I'll never use anything other than rivet-style master links on my bikes. Only knock on DID is that they changed the pin and sleeve dimensions between the ZVM-2 and ZVM-X chains, even though they call both of them "ZVM" series chains. This 525 ZVM-X link will NOT fit in the 525 ZVM-2 chain, the pins on the X are larger than the pins on the 2. Ordering a new chain since I can't get the '2' master link anywhere anymore, and going with the ZVM-X series. Tensile strength and quality on these is unmatched.

Hey! If you are replacing your chain it is always good to have a backup master link just in case. For about $8-$9 why not? It is better to get it just in case than waiting 4-5 days to get one in the mail in case of a mess up! Just make sure the master link you get is the same model as the chain you got!

When well installed with proper tools, these are virtually non noticeable.
