Fresh air injected into the exhaust system on modified sportbikes can cause back pressure in the headpipes and muffler due to unburnt fuel from modified fuel mapping combined with additional oxygen spontaneously combusting in a high heat environment. Our blockoff plates will stop the annoying and possibly damaging back pressure from occurring while allowing you to remove a few pounds in associated valves and hoses fromyour bike. On late model EFI bikes with 02 sensors, ESPECIALLY when using Dynojet's Power Commander V with the Autotune feature, the air injection system MUST be blocked as it will introduce additional oxygen into the system which will skew your 02 sensor's values and make it impossible to get a correct tune.

R3 block off plate
So I got a full exhaust system and the bike was back firing like crazy. It was cool for a while but then it got annoying and the block off plate got rid of it completely. I also did it myself watching the STG how to video and it was pretty straight forward

A Must Have
With my new M4 exhaust I was getting lots of popping on De-cel… lots. I watched Brian's Vid about the R3 install. I ordered it, it arrived in a couple of days. The whole install took maybe 25 minutes total. The Video was spot on perfect; the results.. flawless. The Driven plate totally eliminated all the popping. Now I have a bad ass exhaust system thanks to STG.

Block off plate
Easy install . Easier if you watch the stg YouTube video. Would recommend the kit includes two more rubber caps for a complete emissions removal of the charcoal canister as well but no big deal.

Stop backfires without an ECU reflash
Want to stop that annoying backfire on deceleration after applying an exhaust modification? This is the secret many aren't telling you about. These stopped the backfire without and ECU refresh after my exhaust mod. These worked so well on my Ninja I had to get one for my Yamaha too. The hardest part is getting to put it on, but STG does a great job with their "bike specific" videos which guides anyone with the simplest mechanical skills to be able to apply this mod that being said if your wary just have a mechanic put it on.

No more popping
I put this on my bike it's easy after watching the stg did on it I've got almost 500 mIles on sense the install and not a single pop front my full racing exhaust system
