Fresh air injected into the exhaust system on modified sportbikes can cause back pressure in the headpipes and muffler due to unburnt fuel from modified fuel mapping combined with additional oxygen spontaneously combusting in a high heat environment. Our blockoff plates will stop the annoying and possibly damaging back pressure from occurring while allowing you to remove a few pounds in associated valves and hoses fromyour bike. On late model EFI bikes with 02 sensors, ESPECIALLY when using Dynojet's Power Commander V with the Autotune feature, the air injection system MUST be blocked as it will introduce additional oxygen into the system which will skew your 02 sensor's values and make it impossible to get a correct tune.

Read instructions not that hard to install it the hard part is making sure vaccum lines are all back on thats the hard part

Awesome product fit well and also one thing i have to mention is when u put air box back on make sure all vaccum lines are on other than that no fi light and idles perfect good hob guys

Helpful upgrade, not the easiest install.
These are much needed if you upgrade with a full exhaust, race air filter, pcv etc... however just a warning these are not the most simple of installations, getting to them is the hard part. A lot to take off.
