Most aluminum rear sprockets start out as blank discs punched out of sheets of heat-treated 7075-T6 aluminum. The quality of these aluminum sheets vary among manufacturers and countries. DRIVEN uses only the finest aluminum available in the world. They shape the tooth profile on a hobbing machine, which guarantees the perfect shape and fit for the least amount of friction and subsequent wear when mated to the chain. The final color anodizing further increases strength and durability as well as adding a personalized characteristic. Throughout the entire process the disc undergoes rigorous quality control insuring each individual sprocket is perfectly flat and concentric. This guarantees the consumer the finest product available. Their front sprockets are made of case hardened, C45 chromoly steel, zinc plated for strength and durability and drilled for mass and weight reduction.

Please see the stock gearing chart below to assist you in choosing your chain kit. For most 600cc bikes we suggest 1 down in the front and 2 up in the rear. For most 1000cc bikes we suggest 2 up in the rear with a stock front. This may not be correct for your intended application. If you need assistance with choosing the sprocket combo please contact us prior to purchase. The information in the chart was posted for reference only. This information was gathered from the Driven website. While we work hard to keep this up to date and accurate we can not guarantee it's accuracy 100%.
Note: Certain color combinations are special order and may have longer delivery times than standard color combinations.

DRIVEN Rear Sprocket
Came very well packaged. The build quality and machining is excellent. I have used Driven in the past and always very happy with my purchase.

Aluminum sprockets are not the move
I heard a lot of people bash aluminum sprockets for not lasting long but I tried one anyways. I care for my chain and do the complete cleaning and adjusting process every 600 miles, and this sprocket started to get eaten away and shark-tooth after only 5K miles. I'm incredibly disappointed. If you're on a bike around 200 horse and you ride it like intended, do not buy an aluminum sprocket unless you are prepared to constantly replace it.
