1. Engineers aren't mechanics!
I'm sure this is a fairly universal tool that covers multiple models so I think that needs to come into consideration. That being said I had to chalk it up in the lathe and take .200" off the O.D. So it would fit down into the clutch on my 88 CBR600. The handle is also rather short and the tool didn't come up out of the crankcase enough to get a good grab on it. So if it had a longer handle and didn't need to be clearanced and it came high enough to clear the crankcase this would be an amazing tool and get 5 stars! Poor engineering as is.
