Fits on 1999 500R Well and Works
The issue with the 500R is that the original clutch springs are too soft, eventually leading to early clutch slip with little friction plate wear. This EBC set has stronger springs that fix the issue. The clutch with these springs is noticeably stiffer to pull on the lever. The pack came with 6 springs instead of the expected 5. The EBC friction plates feel more gradual in the friction zone than in the original worn plates. Using this set fixed my clutch slip issue completely.
