1. Wrong color
I’ve bought EBC brake pads over the years and have been pleased. The EBC V-Pads I purchased a few days ago were for a Classic 2001, Kawasaki W650 which resembles a 1960s Triumph 650. I expected the new pads to match the existing stock pads including the black in color backing plates – not so. The backing plates were painted orange including the sides of the pads. I had to mask off the pads and paint the backing plates black to match the factory originals. This is not a criticism of Sportbike Track Gear, but I think EBC needs to be more aware of where there products will be used.
