The best $9 (+shipping) I've spent.
So, my bike is a '09 Triumph Sprint ST that I bought used. The clutch disengaged fine, but never engaged with a quickness or "snap" like my '11 Speed Triple. I initially figured it was because it is a sport tourer, and shouldn't perform like a true sport bike. So this condition got worse, and the cable seemed fine with no clutch slippage. The engagement just seemed to be lacking. After going through some diagnosis/opinions from different sources, including this site, I decided to replace the springs. Replacement is pretty straight forward. Gaskets of course should be ordered or use silicone gasket. I consulted my repair manual, but nothing too intense and no special tools needed. Removing the fairing is actually the most difficult part of this repair. I replaced all five springs, and now my clutch lever engages even better than my Speed Triple. Feels brand new, without being difficult to disengage. Very happy I did this replacement. Thanks STG
