2017 CBR1000RR SP
Just wanted to let you all know that the FTECU bench tune kit worked great. It was easy to use and the FTECU map worked as advertised. Brian's STG video was also very helpful. It is very difficult to find any tuning for the 2017 CBR1000RR and SP so I really appreciate Flash Tune's efforts. Just be aware that to Dyno the new CBR you must disconnect the rear wheel speed sensor in order to avoid getting a check engine or MIL light. If you do not, the bike will go into a restricted state (not controlled by the FTECU overrides) and will only produce the restricted 11K RPM HP between 150 and 155 depending on conditions. Otherwise, the bike is noticeably faster and smoother with the FTECU maps and unrestricted file.
