Galfer Advance Ceramic Full Metallic HH Compound:
The Galfer Braking System 1375 compound front brake pads are the result of many long days at the racetrack and on the brake dyno. Based on Advanced Ceramics, this compound is meant for the track. It offers very fast heat recovery for more consistent braking which, in turn, gives the rider more feel. This is the pad of choice for most aggressive street riders and racers at the top of club levels and AMA contenders. These pads are very easy on rotors since they do not have the same levels of metallics in them as many O.E.M. and after-market brands. The 1375 compound also features a ceramic-coated back plate, which helps to dissipate heat away from the brake pad and reduces the amount of heat transferred into the caliper pistons. This gives you a cooler running system that will be able to withstand more heating cycles and deliver consistent braking. Available for front calipers Supersport and Superbike applications (600cc - 1000cc).
- IMPORTANT NOTE: Brake Pads are sold 2 Pads to a Card. If your motorcycle has 2 front calipers you will need 2 Cards to replace the pads on your bike.
- Will withstand friction ratings of 0.7u and does not require any heat to deliver friction
- Advanced ceramic technology allows for pads to "cool off" as soon as pressure is released from the brake lever
- Requires very little brake pressure effort under repeated braking
- Recommended to those looking for the "edge" or "ultimate" stopping feel and control
Galfer strongly recommends following these BED-IN directions:
- (1) Clean the brake rotor(s) with thin sand paper and water prior to new pad installation.
- (2) Towel dry the rotor surface after sanding.
- (3) Install the new pads and be easy with the brakes for the next 40-50 miles.

Amazing Brake Pads
I installed and used these brake pads for trackday use (along with Galfer Wave rotors - the cheaper $275 ones, not the more expensive "Superbike" Wave rotors). The worked great; amazing feel and braking power even though initial bite is something that requires a little getting used to. Highly recommended. PS: Do take the first session to "bed" the pads - ride easy for 3-5 laps, heat them up and bring her back in to let the brakes cool down. Next session, start easy to see how brakes are responding and if everything feels good, "hammer time!" (For the record, this is a reference to Jorge Lorenzo's hammer and butter thingy, not a reference to some washed up rapper from the 90's)
