    got to test out my crash protection. have have the whole gb racing set of engine covers, but this is the one that did the most. ground off but kept the parts below free of damage, for the most part. one con would be the threaded piece in the middle, that is where the fairing bolt goes, goes all the way through the piece. in my crash, it landed on this bolt and ripped the threaded part out of the nylon cover. which isn't a problem. the problem is that the bolt impacted the cover underneath. would be nice to have the threads backed with the nylon to protect the part from metal to metal contact. but, since part underneath was only superficially damaged, i'm not taking a star off.
