Nice to eliminate the fender, but somewhat time consuming to install. The entire has to be removed to install.

Good quality, poor design
Took me about an hour to install (took my time being careful with the body pieces on the bike). The kit is great quality and made very well, but the design and placement of things could be better. Once installed, the new LED included in the kit essentially points directly to the rear at traffic behind you. The bolt used to secure the plate to the bracket comes into contact with the bolt that holds the turn signals to the bracket and makes it very inconvenient to have to install. Looks great though once it’s on and saves a chunk of weight.

Great product horrid instructions
The product itself is great. There are no specific how to videos on the 2017 gsxr1000 so a few details had to be figured out as the instructions are more or less a waste of time to read. Very sturdy and looks great.

Great addition or is that subtraction
Ordered this fender eliminator kit and tore the bike down on the day of arrival. To my disappointment I couldn't figure out how to mount the stock turn signals. A few talks with STG and finally Graves we determined they boxed up the wrong bracket. Graves sent one out immediately and it arrive in 2 days. Overall the quality is superb, fitment was great (with the correct bracket). Easy to assemble after you figure out the funny stuff Suzuki did mounting the rear tail but the STG video was invaluable. The plate light is bright and doesn't have to be installed if you go that route. The only down side is the cost. It seems a lot for what it is, but I'm sure the volume isn't there. It uses the stock 4 mounting bolts of which I used blue loctite on like factory. There was a hole in the plastic fender that is now exposed, I just used some left over black vinyl wrap and patched it. Can't tell. you could probably use electrical tape with the same results. I would definitely buy it again.
