Must have when changing clip-ons
Swapped out to Woodcraft clip-ons and couldn't get the throttle cables in a good spot, this solved the problem perfectly.

Must Have!!!
This steering stop limits the motion of after-market clip-ons just enough to prevent the right grip brake line and throttle cables from hitting the R3's fairing and instrument panel. It does not limit the bike's steering radius to a degree that compromises rider safety, unless it's when turning around inside a garage or on a narrow street at very slow speeds. This steering stop is necessary but it is not a total fix for curing clip-on obstructions. For instance, I installed the Graves clip-ons for the R3 and I still had to take the Dremel to the dark grey panel inside the fairing on the right side of the bike. I used a cutting wheel and sanding drum to cut out a section of that panel to accommodate the brake line. This steering stop does its job in terms of preventing obstruction with the back of the fairing by the windscreen and the instrument panel. If you plan to install clip-ons, consider this an essential part. Despite the absence of instructions from Graves (typical of Graves), installation is easy in that it requires replacement of the horn with the steering stop using the same OEM bolts on the lower fork clamp. Better yet, you don't need to remove the fairing. 1. Remove the horn from the lower fork clamp by removing the two bolts and pulling the two wires from the horn's connections. Save the two bolts. You will notice that the wire bracket through which the front brake line is fed is no longer secured to the lower fork clamp. 2. Remove the thin flat finger-sized metal piece from the horn assembly. It will be used to re-mount the OEM bracket brake line bracket and position it as it was when connected to the horn assmbly. 3. Thread one of the two horn assembly bolts through the end hole on that metal piece and the steering stop and tighten the bolt to the lower fork clamp. 4. Use a replacement bolt and nut to attach the other end of the metal piece to the OEM brake line bracket. 5. Install the other end of the steering stop to the lower fork clamp. Again, just as the horn assembly was. 5. Cover both ends of the horn wire harnesses using electrical tape and zip-tie the wires to the brake line bracket. Done.
