1. Best upgrade for my ride yet.
I was somewhat on the fence about ordering this due to it's cost. However, if you are considering this, go ahead and order it. My bike went from being a grumbling complaing beast at low speed to a purring kitten. The gear number indicator is easy to see, however I would have made it a bit smaller. The dim function works well and is the perfect brightness at night. I ordered the red color version and the color pops right out from my dash where I mounted it. Every so often it does get confused between 1st and 2nd however once you shift into the next gear it auto corrects and this has not been an issue. As an aside the instructions claim that the connection is on the left side of the bike for "most" applications, for my TL1000R it was under the right side faring.
