We installed the Hotbodies Kawasaki Ninja 400 Fender Eliminator on our STG Ninja 400 Project Bike (see install video in this listing) and really liked the end result. No instructions were included in the box (there is a note to visit their site to download the instructions) which could be an issue when trying to get this wired up and installed on your Ninja. In this video we cover each step of the install to help you get the same end result we did on our bike. TURN SIGNAL FLASH RATE NOTE: This tag bracket uses LED lights which draw less current than the OEM bulbs do which means the turn signals will flash faster than they did with the OEM signals. If you prefer the flash rate to be the same as it was with the OEM signals we recommend installing the Driven Flasher Relay like we did on the STG Ninja 400. We breakdown the installation of the flasher relay in this video.
Hotbodies Racing created another winning Tag Bracket fender eliminator kit, this time for the popular Kawasaki Ninja 400. Kawasaki's Ninja 400 hit the market hard with wild new styling and a complete overhaul of the popular 300 model. The new Ninja 400 has aggressive lines and sharp edges and this new Tag Bracket fender eliminator kit will enhance that radical new bike even more. This kit is a must have for anyone wanting to add that little extra touch to their bike, and best of all its affordable for any budget.
This Tag Bracket fender eliminator kit is specifically designed to replace your stock mud flap using your original mounting position. This Tag Bracket will also feature a LED license plate light to keep your plate visible, as well as optional turn signal brackets designed to work with short stalk style blinkers (not shown in photos). All mounting hardware is provided along with detailed installation instructions.
Constructed from durable 1/8" ABS plastic, similar to the original OEM factory bodywork, our Tag Bracket fender eliminator kits are tough and made to last a long time. Hotbodies Racing only uses the highest quality ABS plastic materials made available to ensure their durability.

Hotbodies Fender Eliminator
I helped my daughter install this on her Ninja (with Youtube/Brian's help)and it was relatively straightforward. There were a few hiccups... 1) The wires for the LED light were so thin that they ripped off. We won't worry about it as we don't ride at night. 2) As other reviewers have stated, we did have do drill out the license plate holes as they were not wide enough. Overall, it gives her bike a nice, clean look with the integrated turn signals. Much better than stock!

Cheepy made but looks great
The plastic is very cheep and I had to drill holes to get the licenses plate to fit. Other than that the turn signals are very bright and I love were they are mounted on the eliminator. It looks great!

My review
I think it's way over priced. Cheap plastic. Had to drill to fit my licence plate.

Hot bodies Ninja 400 Fender Eliminator Kit
This is a great product and the installation was pretty easy. However, when you watch the video it is explained that on the license plate light, you must wire the red wire to the black. I did exactly that and the light didn’t work. So I check the connection and made sure it was tight and everything was good but still no light. In order to trouble shoot it I undid the connection and wired the red to the white wire and it worked. I’m not sure if Hotbodies changed the wires on the units being sent out but that was the only issue I encountered when installing the kit. It looks great, and I would definitely recommend it.

Ninja 400 Hotbodies Fender Eliminator
Although a little lack-luster coming straight out of the box and packaging, with no “how-to” instructions, not to worry - once installed - this part really makes the Ninja shine. Hats off to Brian Van and the team over at STG for the hook-up of always amazing content and product videos to help guide any user, step-by-step, through the install process with perfect success! Overall, a good product for a fair price.

Exactly what I wanted
I was looking at different fender eliminators to get and this one caught my eye from the simple slick look. I love the way it looks on the bike. Parts came in fast from STG and well packaged, extra connecters for the wiring was great. Overall it was a simple install thanks to the videos from Bryan on STG. It is a hard plastic but I knew that ahead of time and I really don't mind it. Just don't crank down too much on the screws! Thanks for an awesome product and awesome videos. Much appreciated.

Decent quality
Only thing I didn't like is i have to cut the original wiring. Other than that I would recommend
