Hotbodies undertail for 2017 GSXR1000
This is my second one that I have purchased. Its the best looking undertail you can get. The paint is 9.5 out of ten, it’s slightly better than the first one that I got. One of the led signals is glued on differently than the other one but I don’t think it will be visible and I’m super fussy. Overall this product fits well and is finished well.

Bad fit
Part does not fit my 23 GSX-R1000. Return process taking very long time.

Nightmare
This was a nightmare to install. The holes that were drilled in the product by the manufacturer did not line up with the holes on my bike so 4 of them had to be re-drilled (the 4 you see in the picture with the black plastic fasteners). No holes were pre-drilled at all for the license plate brackets. The leads to the blinkers and license plate light should have had factory connectors instead of requiring me to cut into my factory wiring harness to solder them in. I think I'll probably have to remove the license plate brackets and bend them to a more obtuse angle so my license plate doesn't hit my tire - it's very close to it. There were NO directions provided at all. NONE. This undertail is grossly overpriced. $50 is reasonable for the amount of labor I put into it to correct the factory defects. It looks decent but I definitely cannot recommend it to anyone in good conscience. I have a difficult time believing the reviewers who say they installed it in an hour. It took me and a partner about 4 hours from the time we started to the time we finished. Thankfully STG had a very helpful video of how the rear fairing is removed which saved us some time. I'm new to my '22 GSXR1000RZ but I'm certainly not new to working on Suzuki GSXRs. This was my first and last Hotbodies purchase. STG was excellent.

Looks Good on my Matte black gsxr
It really cleans up the bike looks better then the oem fender its an easy install except that i had to solder the leads on the license plate light and i drilled the license plate holder brackets in place it completes my 2018 gsxr 1000 the led lights are bright execellent product fit was perfect all holes lined up no problem

Great Product, Must Have
This is a clean looking tail that’s MOTOGP like! Totally love the way this fits and cleans up the rear of my GSXR1000R. The blue is spot on with factory paint. Do yourself a favor and get the body color match instead of plain black. You won’t regret it! It takes about an hour to install and I recommend the video on YouTube. I highly recommend this part.

Nice Fit
Easy installation, pretty good fit with minimal struggle to get everything aligned. Wish I would have bought the led resistors when I got the undertail.
