You Pay For What You Get

Posted by AR on 8th Mar 2016

I've decided to part take in the buy one get one free deal. I went in with a buddy who needed plastics. This would be my second set of race plastic. First time using Hotbodies though. When I received my set, the under tail draft piece was not included. I asked STG to confirm with Hotbodies. Hotbodies said this kit doesn't include it. It wasn't clear when I placed the order. I just assumed since this was the superbike tail kit. My Optimal Racing plastics came with it. (This company is similarly priced with Hotbodies) Needless to say I was disappointed since I was waiting since November for these plastics from Hotbodies. Again comparing to the Optimal Racing plastics, the hotbodies kit I received seemed very flimsy and thin. I can't see this holding up after a crash. I know every crash is different and you can't predict the outcome but my optimal plastics held up very well after my bike flipped over twice, each time hitting the ground. Bottom line, I would have never purchased this if I knew that Hotbodies didn't include the under tail draft piece. I should have listened to all the reviews on the web. Buyer beware is all I'm saying.
