Hotbodies Racing takes pride in creating industry-first innovations like our NEW Color Form Race Bodywork, for the MotoGP inspired Yamaha YZF-R1. This new process developed by Hotbodies Racing, brings a new solution to painting your race or track day weapon, just add fasteners, sponsor decals and you're off to the track.

This proprietary Color Form process is a paint-less process that can replace the expensive cost of painting a single color race bike, which allows racers and track day enthusiasts to save time and money while still looking professional if a custom paint job is not needed. The color is incorporated into the shape of the material using proprietary resins that allow flexibility and do not compromise on weight. Not only that, but the color is stronger and more durable than standard automotive grade paints; you can even buff the finish to a high gloss shine that looks pro.

Product Features:

  • Add fasteners, decals and get to the track.
  • Light Weight, durable Four-harness fiberglass.
  • Ultra Flexible for easy installation.
  • Kevlar reinforced mounting areas.
  • AMA/WSBK Legal oil containment belly pan.
  • Race Contingency paid in the USA.

    Great bodywork for the money

Posted by Walter on 10th May 2019

I have purchased three sets of these Hotbodies color bodywork, cause I keep crashing, and the fit and finish are on par for what you most would expect at this price point. I love the fact that I can slap on number plats and some decals and go racing. So let's recap, buy Sharkskins $900+ then $500 - 1000 for paint, hmmm. To me, this is a natural choice for a budget-minded club racer.

    Fit is horrible

Posted by chris on 31st Mar 2019

So this isn't the first set of track plastics I have mounted so I understand there is some "engineering" involved on the initial fitting. However the set I received was horrible. The finish looked like 5 year old used and abused plastics and as far as fit the belly pan was the only thing that came close. The upper's shape is so disformed it doesn't come close to fitting with the belly and it doesn't match up at all to the sides. The bottom of the upper doesn't fit into the top of the belly like it should. Not enough length to even drill for Dzus fasteners. The tail doesn't come close to fitting the tank and subframe for where you are supposed to drill for the seat. The brake light cover was extremely warped and unusable. I wasn't expecting perfection but I at least expected them to somewhat fit. The set I got is a disaster. Hot bodies totally dropped the ball molding mine. Extremely dissatisfied.

    Hot bodies

Posted by Unknown on 25th Aug 2015

I got the color form. Was hoping it was a closer match in color,It wasn't. I watched the STG video on the install and decided to go with the cheaper hot bodies over the shark skin. Going along with the STG install the body work went on quite easy. Painting: I passed on priming the parts. Sanded and sprayed. Looked awesome.
