Joe Rocket Phoenix Ion Mesh Jacket

The jacket fit exactly as it should. Great looking jacket, and will give me the protection I’m wanting. Order process was quick and easy and I received the jacket quickly!

This replaced an older, well-used Joe Rocket mesh jacket I owned and includes years of upgrades and features my old jacket lacked. So I'm a bit biased. The fit is American size - I'm muscular but not overweight, so my Large fits like a large, with room for a thick underlayer or sweatshirt. In other words, the waist is not tapered. The full-sleeve rain liner is great for misty, cool spring and fall days, but the additional quilted vest is much appreciated. My older jacket did not have this feature. The best part is all three layers zip together, stay in place, and you can shed the layers as the day heats up. The high & low sleeve adjustments are a nice touch. Also, being able to access the armor from the OUTSIDE is convenient. But the best part is that this jacket breathes and provides good airflow when it gets hot out here in the desert southwest.

I am 6’3” and 350lbs with a 53” chest and beer belly. I ordered this first in a 5x but I was surprised when it arrived it hung off me. So I returned and picked up a 3x. The 3x is a snug fit in the belly for me with all liners in place, however remove them and it’s perfect. The pads stay exactly where they should be, and it stays super cool. Is this going to protest you as well as leathers, no, but It should do its job well for those daily commutes. I keep the liner rolled up under my seat in case I get caught in a little rain. Only wish the belt loops were a little further to the back. They secure around your sides to appendix area. This to me is just unneeded. Jackets tend to ride up your back and I’d prefer to keep it snug there so I’m protected in a slide. Overall, it’s a great buy and reasonable price. My first real motorcycle jacker was a Joe Rocket. Since then i have worn numerous other brands. And i have learned that dollar for dollar in reguards to protection fit and style. Joe Rocket is my choice. Prepare for the worst and you will never go wrong

I'm 5'9" and 190lbs, 34 waist and the Large fits fine, without the removable liner there's plenty of room(and lets be honest, with temps of 100-110+ the liner is only going to slow cook you). 3. This coat is excellent it breathes air so good and when the liner is in its warm for those cooler days ill continue ordering this jacket as long as they produce them.
