The Super Ring insert covers up the mounting bolts, delivering smooth airflow into your motor. Kuryakyn strongly recommends recalibration of the ECM on all EFI models using a tool such as the TTS MasterTune (P/N 9225) or Vance and Hines Fuel Pak (P/N 230) for H-D models, or Küryakyn Wild Things Fuel Injection Controller (P/N 9218) for Metric models, all sold separately.
