The Lightech Chain Adjusters are a great addition to your Yamaha R1. Watch Van install them on the STG R1 Project Bike for a detailed look into this kick ass product. They have been on the STG R1 for a couple seasons now and I appreciate how easy it is to get a fast, accurate chain adjustment. The only minor take away is to change the rear tire you need to remove the 2 allen bolts at the back of the brake side adjuster (easy to do takes a 5mm t handle). Amazing overall quality form the machine work, feel of the adjuster and anodizing.
LighTech Chain Adjusters allow for quick and precise chain adjustments that makes chain adjustments a snap. Rather than guessing the axle's position, micro measurements are now clearly show on the laser-etched chain adjuster body. When you make an adjustment, there is a distinctive click from the adjusters. It's as simple as "3 clicks back on left side, 3 clicks back on right side" and off you go.

Makes chain adjustment easy and looks great!
These are very high quality, extremely precise. They make adjusting the chain quick and easy. They also look much nicer than the stock chain adjusters. Important note, follow the instructions which state to not reinstall the washer behind the axle nut, also the axle nut torque is much lower than the stock setup.

MUST HAVE mod for your bike
Cannot recommend these enough. makes chain adjustments super quick and easy. dial in the chain within a half millimeter. TORQUE SPEC CHANGES! this is key for these adjusters or they will break. i missed this upon initial install and thankfully corrected it before going nuts on it. PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THIS! IT IS IMPORTANT!

This is the second set of Lightech Chain Adjusters I have purchased. One set for my 2019 R1, the second set for my 2021 R1. These are the highest quality chain adjusters that I've ever owned. They are expensive but you get what you pay for and I only put the best on my bikes. These make chain adjustments so simple, no more measuring with a micrometer. When your chain is loose a couple of clicks on each side and you're ready to ride.

Anyone who races on track or does any sort of do it your self at home maintenance on their motorcycle, you have to get these. super precise tactile click when you rotate the bolt in the back. very precise movements. can dial in your chain tension in 5 minutes. one of the best parts to ever have on a motorcycle lol.
