The new Crash Pads are designed to better absorb and dissipate impacts. The plastic insert deforms on impact thereby improving protection. Its arched shape acts like a skid to guide the direction of a slide. By better absorbing the energy of a crash the new impact pads also reduce potential damage to the brackets and fasteners. This means that after a low-speed crash only the plastic insert may need replacing. As before the shell is machined from billet aluminum. The new rounded shape prevents the slider from hooking into the track or road surface. The fastening system matches all existing brackets making for an easy upgrade.

Available in a wide range of colors.

    the whole thing bend

to be honest it looks amazing and it fits the bike well ,but i low sided on a track day on slow corner ( 25 mph) and the whole slider just bend , not a very strong build to actually let the puck do its job , plus as it bent soo badly it took me 3 hours to pull it out

    Beware plug cannot be removed

Posted by Adam on 12th Mar 2015

I like the looks of these frame sliders - I got the carbon fiber finish which looks nice with my liquid graphite FZ-09. Installation instructions are minimal, but then again these aren't that complicated to install. HOWEVER, before you put the plug in the crash pad to cover the bolt when you're finishing up the install, be aware that it will be VERY difficult, if not impossible, to later remove the plug without damaging the slider (for instance if you're anal and you later notice they don't look level). I personally don't think they look bad with the plug left off, and will keep it that way.
