    Sounds awesome, but.

Didn't come with high temp silicone like the instructions said. And the o2 sensor adapter that screws into the bung hole on the pipe didn't match the threads. No biggie. Installation still went great. No exhaust leaks and I love it

    Awesome exhaust

So far I love it, the exhaust note is amazing without having to take the db killer out. I dont need to get every bit of power out of this bike possible so this slip on was perfect. Took me less than an hour to install with a sawzall and grinder and it made my fz07 sound like a motorcycle instead of a moped like the stock exhaust would make you think. If something happens to this one I will definately order another one to replace it.

As long as you have the right tools to cut your exhaust the install is nothing more than unscrewing and re-screwing some bolts. I don't have any experience working on motorcycles, but was able to do the install just from watching some YouTube videos. This new exhaust makes on hell of a difference! I have loved this bike since I got it, but the one thing I've always felt was missing was a nice roar. The M4 slip on completely fills this void. It has made me an even happier man than I already was. I've already noticed many more head turns as I drive by and many less drivers unexpectedly trying to turn into my Lane when I'm there. Great purchase!

    Returning It

Posted by Unknown on 30th Jun 2016

After waiting more than a week I received the M4 and there is something lose in the exhaust moving around. Sound like a screw, but not sure - in the process of setting up an exchange now. So no riding this July4th...

Sounds great, light weight. easy to install. The directions suck. Just watch a youtube video instead. Make sure you have the tools to cut apart you old exhaust before you buy this.

    Sounds amazing!

I bought this muffler after putting 4000 miles on my bike and I wish I had put it on after 10 miles. This exhaust is awesome! It really makes the bike come to life. Instead of sounding like a weed wacker like another reviewer mentioned, it sounds like a v8. Also with the old exhaust I ran into a few situations where cars didn't notice me because the stock exhaust was so quiet. Not anymore! This exhaust will let mom know your coming home a mile away. I highly recommend this product. Not only does it sound cool and it's easy to install you'll be much safer on the road. Buy it when you get a chance, your mom will appreciate it.

Installation was a breeze. Used a hacksaw and then a grinder to soft the hard cut edge. Used some of the silicon hi-temp greese for the header gasket so they would stay in when trying to put the header back. Using ithe muffler with the db killer and it sounds awesome. Also im sure it helps with back pressure.

    So Much Better.

The stock exhaust on my 2015 FZ-07 was essentially an upgraded weed wacker. I bought the M4 slip-on a couple weeks ago and have been riding with it installed on my bike for about one week. What a difference. I'm actually excited to get on my bike now. The installation was extremely simple—just loosen a few bolts under the radiator, a few more on the right foot peg bracket, and a few that hold the exhaust mount underneath the bike. The only problem I see some people having is being able to cut the stock exhaust behind the weld point. I have an industrial bandsaw, but I experimented by starting with a hack saw and got nowhere fast. Then I tried my angle grinder, which was much easier, and what I would recommend if you don't have a bandsaw. Once you get that done, it's only about another 10-15 minutes of putting things together and tightening bolts before your new exhaust is ready to go. Like I said earlier, this thing sounds absolutely fantastic compared to stock. As far as aesthetics go, the carbon fiber looks great, and M4 also snuck a little "upgrade" in by changing the position of the air flow sensor. It used to be visible on the outer edge of the exhaust, but the bore is now on the inside of the exhaust which is underneath the bike (hidden). A simple, clean upgrade that made me happy. Little things are what turn a good product into a great one. Overall, I would recommend this product in a heartbeat. It's cheaper than a full exhaust and a power commander is not needed (as far as I know) which makes a total of about $600-$700+ in savings over a full exhaust. Thanks for the great product, M4, and thank you to SBTG for the quick shipping.
