M4 Full Exhaust install
The installation was aided by the video for 2017 Yamaha R6. It was very informative and a must to get the project installed right. The only issue is that In order to get the headers installed I had to install them first to the flange and then connect to the mid pipe.

Excellent Quality Overall
Probably one of the best looking exhausts for the R6, the welds are impeccable. Installation wasn’t too difficult, everything was pretty straightforward. However, I did have an issue with the header pipe contacting the lower fairing on the brake side, even with the supplied spacer from M4. My fix was to use a slightly larger spacer and some heat shield tape along the inside of the lower faring.

Sounds Mean
Got tired of seeing the unsightly cat belly on my ‘17 R6. It was a toss up between this and the Hindle. I had to consider my local track noise ordinance and went with this after viewing a few YouTube videos. Install was straight forward, and the instructions are simple enough to not need them. I used Vans video as reference (my packaging didn’t come with anti seize, oh well). Fired it up and oh man it’s a nice clean throaty sound. Not super deep. Can’t wait to get it on the dyno.
