All Black Stainless Catalytic Converter Eliminator removes 11 lbs as compared to the stock set up. It will work with stock muffler, or any aftermarket muffler that mounts in Standard/Stock position and has the same inner diameter as the stock canister.

Note: Installation of this system eliminates the catalytic converter. This system is intended for closed course use. M4 Recommends re-flashing your stock ECU to unleash the full potential of all M4 products on the 2015 and up Yamaha R1.

    It will suffice

M4 did a decent job with this link pipe. It fits into the stock mounting locations perfectly, but does run a little close to the oil pan on the left side. I just got my R1 dyno tuned with this link pipe and a Graves slip on. The bike put down 180 to the rear wheel and is extremely loud. Not the best pipe on the market, but its a significant improvement on the stock system and great bang for the buck.
