Titanium Catalytic Converter Eliminator removes 13 lbs as compared to the stock set up. It will work with stock muffler, or any aftermarket muffler that mounts in Standard/Stock position and has the same inner diameter as the stock canister.
Note: Installation of this system eliminates the catalytic converter. This system is intended for closed course use. M4 Recommends re-flashing your stock ECU to unleash the full potential of all M4 products on the 2015 and up Yamaha R1.

Quality of welds could be better. Fit is good. For replacing the stock cat on a Euro 5 spec R1 it is a good cheap alternative. Best feature is the ability to use stock can. Sounds good and throaty. If you don't want to spend alot on a slip on this is definitely the way to go. Probably sounds better anyway.

It is an easy install, no modification is required for a 2015 YZF-R1(M), nice look especially when it burns blue, I got this for my Bike in Venezuela and all my fellow riders loved it, the product's quality is a 5/5. You will need to remove the servomotor and the engine trouble light eliminator device too

Great Design
The how-to installation video on STG convinced me that this was the right exhaust mod for my R1. Simple to install, cost-effective way to add a bit of performance, and it uncorks the sound of the bike with the stock slip-on. Next step bodywork and 2018 track day season here I come. P.S. 2016 R1M w/stock can
The video installs on STG are game changers but the sound of the stock can and titanium M4 midpipe is something that must be heard in person. Wow! Very aftermarket sounding. Deep and throaty. Very easy to install and looks great on the bike. Highly recommended. I installed the block off plates the next day and they cleared up a lot of the coughing and backfire.
