    Black cush drive rubber

Installed black cush drive rubbers. Excellent fit and finish. Hopefully these hold up better than the original light tan ones. Put 40 miles on them. So far everything is tight. No play. The original light tan ones degraded into a flaky chunky mess. Signs of the compound in the form of chips and dust on the rim of the rear wheel was the tip-off. Had about 5 mm of play just before noticing the meltdown. Even with the original compound, after a similar ride, I noticed 1-2mm play and those were just installed. Granted at the time of the meltdown, these were old. 8 years or a little more. Bike had been stored for a while. Had approximately 1200 miles on the originals before the bike was parked. We’ll see. Still under review. Lol!!!!
