STG had the right tire for my 50-year old Ducati Scrambler
I searched high and low for a tire that would come close to matching the 50-year old Pirellis on the 1972 Ducati Scrambler 250 I am restoring. The wheels are 18" front and rear - an unusual combo to find i a matched pair. I checked a number of sites, including vintage motorcycle specialists. I don't know why I didn't check STG sooner. They had these Metzlers, which didn't even show up in searches on other sites. They were in stock and they arrived in just three days. Tire Brands
I have been a fan of the Metzeler brand for forty plus years. I must say that Dunlop is my preferred go to brand. With that being said, this particular tire has the tread pattern I desire for my latest project. The price was very decent also!
