- Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT Front Tires
- Michelin Pilot Road 4 Trail Front Tires
Version breakown:
- Standard: The industry standard for all-around sport touring use.

- Trail: The sport touring tire for trail bikes ridden exclusively on roads.
Stops faster:
Thanks to new XST+ sipes, MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires stop faster in the wet than any other tyres in the category. The MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tire stops 17% faster than its closest competitor on wet roads, and 24% faster on a wet slippery surface such as a pedestrian crossing or painted lines. All of which means, riding in the rain should feel safer and more secure, and a lot less stressful.
Lasts longer:
Thanks to improved 2CT technology, new MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires last up to 20% longer than the MICHELIN Pilot Road 3 tires. Over the long run, that adds up to fewer tire changes and a lower total cost of ownership.
Grips the road in virtually all conditions:
All-new silica-charged rubber compounds were developed for the MICHELIN Pilot Road 4 tires. These compounds are specially formulated to provide excellent grip on a wide range of road surfaces, including painted lines and pedestrian crossings, making it easier for you to ride with confidence in virtually all conditions.
MICHELIN 2AT provides extra stability for heavier loads:
Whether you are riding your GT-class bike solo, 2-up or with luggage, you'll appreciate the added stability provided by MICHELIN's new 2AT technology. With MICHELIN 2AT technology, your heavy touring bike will feel stable and secure in both straight line and cornering situations.

Great tire and great company
This is my third set of Pilot Road 4's on my Speed Triple R. I got about 11-12k miles out of each of the previous sets. Great sport touring tire, very confident with them in the corners and fantastic wet traction. STG is great as always, best price and very fast delivery.

LOVE MICHELIN TIRES
I have a 05 ZX10 with gobbs of power.. and I have only run Michelin Pilot Road tires since 07. I have 61K on my bike.. and only on the 3rd front and rear tires. they work great, and they last forever. I got 26K out of my front Pilot road 2.. skipped the road 3, and jumped all the way to the Road 4. pretty much ZERO break in on the tire, I felt confident on mile 1 to lean in on the tire. I would take that statement with a grain of salt, and you are on your own as to how fast and far you work your tires. If my feelings change about the road 4 after a few thousand miles.. I will get back to you.

Not very good
The tire felt good for about the first 2k miles then it failed to give me any confidence. I got 5k out of the front. As compared to 11k out of the road 2 front. If you can find a road 2 buy it instead felt great the whole tire life and lasted twice as long.

Pilot Road 4
Excellent tire. I have progressed from Pilot Road 2's to 3's and now 4's and have noted an amazing street tire with good grip iteratively progress in quality. I have tried various other brands that promote being a stickier tire w/ more grip only to find that its soft characteristics make for a lack of confidence on the street, unpredictable behavior, and 2-3x faster wear. Michelin's Pilot Road series is where its at for the street. Fast shipping and great pricing from Sports track gear. My first purchase from them. I will make more in the future.

Michelin Pilot Road 4
Great tire, easy to install using my Nomar tire changing equipment. STG delivered tires within a few days. Anxious to see how many miles I get out of these tires on my 2007 Honda VFR800.

Feel Secure - High Mileage
I had 2 sets of Road 2's in the past. 12K miles each on an '05 Kawi 636. Loved them. Always felt confident through hard turns. The length of life was incredible. I am excited to see how these Road 4's do on my '06 R1.
