The Michelin Power GP Tire is being marketed as a 50 / 50 track day tire. In our opinion this is more of a full track day tire than it is a street tire. Once we have the opportunity to ride on this tire we will share our thoughts. Michelin uses proprietary formulation and strategic placement of 2CT and 2CT+ "Carbon Black" compounds to maximize performance. The surface area of slick zones is increased and the size of water voids is reduced for class-leading dry grip and communication on the track. Warm-up times are short, and the Power GPs are ready for the lap timer to start. With DOT approval, the Power GPs are equally adept at dominating the street. Michelin's patented "velvet" sidewall design adds some extra GP-level style to match the GP-level performance.

Amazing Grip!
Put a set on my 18 Aprilia Tuono Factory and these tires a simply amazing on hard twisties, so sticky!! Definitely can push the tire and bike to the full potential on hard corners! Getting ready to install my second rear, about 3k miles center about gone from hard acceleration and power wheelie's.. Can’t go wrong with the GP’s!

Exceptional!
I've been riding for 30 years and I've owned nothing but super sport and Hyper-nakeds, so sport grippy tires are a must especially if you go to the track. These by far the best I've ever used. They are confidence inspiring and grip for days. Take them to the edge and have no concerns around how they will behave. I put them on all my bikes. Good buy!

Perfect Track Day Tire
These tires were flawless on the track! Superb traction and flawless under hard braking. Ran 28 - 30 cold temp pressure. Wear is exceptional. Highly recommend these tires.

alot of grip
I bought these tires for aggressive street riding but recently i did a track day with them.The grip is amazing and the carcus feels pretty solid on hard braking and cornering.Im pretty sure its a differnt carcus than the power rs.The rs provides plenty of traction but can get squirmy under hard acceleration.As for tire wear i put 2 track days on them at a intermediate pace. They wore great. I ran 35 35 in them on the track and never once did they give on me has i dragged knee all day lol.My guess is at my pace you can get about 4 to 5 track days out of them.

Power GP rear
This definitely feels more like a track day tire than 50/50 street/track as per STG's opinion so definitely keep that in mind if you're expecting good mileage. I am 90% sure michelin used the Power RS molds for these tires but with new compound because the profile feels so similar but with softer compounds. Overall, they feel great, I'm happy with them. Previously, got 4000miles from a Power RS rear so really curious how far these take me.
